We have a huge amount of GU10 Haolgens in our house, and we are starting to run out of our supply of regular GU10 bulbs.

Is now the time to start buying the energy saving GU10s now available? They just seem SOOOO much more expensive! Do they really save the extra money that they cost?

eg. I have just had a count, and downstairs alone we have 41 (!!) GU10 bulbs.

I can't go out and spend £5, £10 etc. per bulb! Does anyone do any bulk deals?

Hi - yes, some suppliers do sell in bulk which will reduce your cost considerably. But watch out for some descipirptions, as it is common to refer to the number of individual LED elements within the fitting , so when you see 12 x LED GU10, or 18 x LED GU10, that means they have 12 or 18 LEDs per bulb - NOT that you get 12 or 18 individual bulbs!

To get multiple blubs, look for the word "pack".

One of the current sellers on the first page has 15 packs of 12 LED GU10s (in white light) for £105 - that works out as £7 each. You will be able to find cheaper, and in fact we will happily publicise any cheaper prices - someone just needs to let us know!
